Pole Installers sets parking lot lights, meter poles, pylon sign poles, flagpoles and field lighting across Fort Lauderdale for general contractors, property managers, condo associations and homeowners. We’re a licensed, family-owned crew based a short drive south in Hollywood, and we bring our own auger trucks, boom trucks and cranes to every job.

We pick the rig to suit the pole and the site: auger trucks for holes up to 48 inches wide, boom trucks for heavy steel poles, and cranes when a pole is too tall to swing by hand. Nothing is rented on the day, so the crew arrives with what the job was quoted for.
We plan our dates with your general contractor or property manager, so drilling happens before paving, landscaping or fixture work instead of in the middle of it. You get a confirmed day and a crew that shows up on it.
Embedment depth comes from the engineer’s drawings or the manufacturer’s specs, not a rule of thumb. Every pole is checked for plumb and alignment before the pour, so it is ready for the inspector when the pour is done.

Fort Lauderdale’s ground changes from one side of the city to the other: sandy coastal soil near the beach, canals and fill through the middle, and harder rock as you move west. Each one drills differently. On sand we plan for holes that can cave in or take on water before the pour. On rock we change bits and drilling methods to reach the right embedment depth. Our crews have nearly three decades of South Florida drilling behind them, so they know what to expect before the auger goes in.
Nobody on your job is a subcontractor and none of the equipment is rented. The operators who visit your site are the ones who drill it and run the final plumb check. That consistency is why general contractors and property managers keep calling us back.
Each job starts with a site visit. We look at the ground, mark where underground utilities run, work out how deep each pole needs to go and make sure our trucks can reach every hole, then we drill, set, brace and backfill.
Retail centers, office parks and condo associations hire our light pole installation crews for parking lot and walkway lighting. On busy corridors like Broward Boulevard and Andrews Avenue, we set tall steel sign poles for pylon and LED signs on deep concrete foundations. New construction and renovation projects get utility and meter poles to bring power to the site, and parks get sports lighting poles for fields and courts. Drilling is done with our auger services trucks, never a rented rig.
Our schedule is built around the trades that follow us. When the poles are set and braced, your electrician can pull wire and the inspector can sign off without waiting on us.

Lighting poles for retail center parking lots, condo grounds and office park walkways, with bases built to the engineer’s drawings.

Flagpoles for corporate offices, marinas, schools and government buildings, set deep enough to stand up to coastal wind.

Service and meter poles that bring power onto construction sites, renovations and properties where the building sits far from the street.

Tall steel sign poles for pylon and LED signs on Broward’s busy corridors, set in concrete foundations sized for the sign face.

When a pole is bent, cracked or failing at the base, we pull it, clean out or rebuild the foundation and set the replacement plumb.

Utility poles in wood, steel or concrete for telecom carriers, developers and commercial owners who need their own power or data lines.
Much of Fort Lauderdale sits only a few feet above sea level, and groundwater is often close to the surface near the beach and the canals. A hole that fills with water before the pour can weaken the concrete around the pole, so we plan the drilling and the pour around the water level on your site.
Water Near the Surface
Drilling and pour are timed to the water level, so the concrete sets around a solid pole.
Sand to Rock
Coastal sand in the east, harder rock out west. We switch bits and methods to reach full depth.
HVHZ Foundations
Broward is in the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone, so foundations follow the engineer's or manufacturer's specs.
Storm Repairs
Leaning or downed poles are removed and replaced plumb in a single mobilization.
From your plans to poles set and verified, in four steps.

Email the site plan, pole schedule or engineer’s drawings. If there are no plans yet, photos and a short description work.

We price the job in writing, including drilling, foundations, setting and every truck we will bring to the site.

After approval we confirm the date, the crew and how our equipment will reach each pole location.

Poles are set, braced and checked for alignment so the electrician and inspector can follow right behind us.
Yes. Send your site plans, specifications or a few photos and we’ll return a detailed written quote covering drilling, setting, backfill and equipment.
Yes. For tight or hard-to-reach locations we use skid steers with augers, and for tall or heavy poles we bring boom trucks or cranes. We plan access and equipment staging with you before the work date.
Yes. We install meter and utility poles for lots under construction, new homes, mobile home sites and rural properties that need a service connection.
It depends on the pole’s height and load, the wind rating and the soil. Sand or a high water table can call for a deeper or wider foundation. We confirm the depth from your project specs before we drill.
Yes. We remove leaning, cracked or downed poles, prepare the hole or foundation and set the new pole plumb, all in one trip.
We work across Fort Lauderdale and nearby Broward cities, including Wilton Manors, Oakland Park, Plantation, Sunrise, Davie and Pompano Beach. Pole Installers LLC is based in Hollywood and also serves Miami-Dade, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie and Monroe counties, and projects anywhere in Florida.
