Pole Installers drills, sets and braces poles of every kind across Miami and Miami-Dade County: street and parking lot lights, utility and meter poles, signs, flagpoles and stadium lighting. We’re a licensed, family-owned company working for general contractors, property managers, municipalities and homeowners, with our own drilling and lifting equipment on every job.

Limestone close to the surface is normal in Miami-Dade, so we bring auger trucks with the power and bits to cut through it, plus boom trucks and cranes to lift poles into place. Holes up to 48 inches across are within our range.
The operators who walk your site are the same people who drill and set the poles. With no subcontractors in the middle, questions get answered fast and the schedule is planned by the people doing the work.
Depth and diameter for each hole come from the pole’s height, its load and the project specs. We set each pole plumb, lock it in with concrete and brace it until it cures, so it stays where it was set through hurricane season.

Much of Miami-Dade sits on limestone that comes close to the surface. Drilling through rock takes different bits, more power and more time than drilling through sand, and it changes how a foundation is planned. We match our equipment to the ground on your site so each hole reaches the right embedment depth without surprises on the day.
Pole Installers is a family-owned company with more than 27 years in the trade. We keep our crews and our equipment in-house, so you get the same experienced operators from the first site visit to the final plumb check, and every question goes straight to the people doing the work.
Site assessment, drilling, setting, bracing and backfill are all done by our team. On rock-heavy Miami-Dade lots, the site assessment matters most: we check how close the limestone sits, confirm the embedment depth, plan equipment access and mark any utilities below ground.
Shopping centers, warehouses and apartment communities use our light pole installation crews for parking lot and street lighting. We also set tall steel sign poles for pylon, fuel and LED signs, install utility and meter poles for new construction and remote equipment, and build billboard structures and sports lighting poles for fields and courts. Every hole on a Miami job is cut by our own auger services crew, rock included.
We stay in contact with your electrician, GC and the county or city inspector, so poles are ready for fixtures on the date your project needs them.

Street, parking lot and perimeter lighting poles for shopping centers, warehouses, apartment communities and municipal projects.

Flagpoles for headquarters, dealerships, schools and county buildings, drilled into rock or sand and finished plumb.

Private power poles for construction sites, nurseries, farms and remote equipment in south Miami-Dade where service has to cross open ground.

Steel sign poles for fuel stations, restaurants and highway-facing businesses, with foundations drilled to the depth the sign engineer specifies.

Hurricane-damaged or corroded poles taken down safely, followed by a new foundation and a replacement pole set the same visit.

Wood, steel and concrete utility poles for telecom, cable and private power lines serving commercial sites and new developments.
Miami-Dade and Broward make up the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone of the Florida Building Code. Poles here have to hold through hurricane-force winds, so foundation size and depth come from the engineer’s drawings or the pole manufacturer’s specifications, not guesswork. We drill to that depth, set each pole plumb and brace it until the concrete cures.
Drilling Into Limestone
Rock close to the surface is common here. Our rigs carry the bits to reach full embedment.
Hurricane-Zone Specs
Every foundation is sized for HVHZ wind loads from the engineer's or manufacturer's numbers.
Direct-Embed or Bolt-Down
Concrete-embedded poles or anchor-bolt bases that let a steel pole be replaced without new concrete.
After the Hurricane
Downed or leaning poles removed and the replacement set in a single trip.
How a Miami job moves from first call to finished poles.

Send drawings, pole specs and photos, and let us know if you expect rock. That decides which drilling rig we bring.

We send a written estimate that lists drilling, concrete, setting and equipment, so you know the full cost up front.

Your work date is confirmed with the site manager, along with where our trucks will park and work.

Every pole is set plumb, braced while the concrete cures and verified before we hand the site back.
Yes. Our auger trucks and digger derricks handle the rock found across much of Miami-Dade, and we adjust bit selection and drilling methods to your site so each hole reaches the depth your project calls for.
Yes. We work throughout Miami-Dade County, including Miami Beach, Doral, Hialeah, Coral Gables and Homestead, and in the Keys.
Each job is quoted on its own. Price depends on the pole height and type, the number of poles, the foundation the engineering calls for, and site access. Send your plans or a few photos and we’ll return a detailed written quote at no cost.
Yes. We schedule around active site work, stage our equipment with your site manager, and leave every pole set plumb and ready for wiring or fixtures.
Yes. We remove leaning, cracked or downed poles and set the replacements in one trip, with the equipment for both the removal and the new install.
